My Story
Since I can remember, I have always tried my best to help the people around me by embracing my personal values around nurturing, compassion and empathy. After my three children were grown up and left home, I finally had the time to follow my passion and entered the world of caring. Since then, I have had the privilege of working with some lovely people and subsequently been told that I had made a really big difference to the quality of their lives. My caring journey I have been on has taken me across the world from South Africa to Italy, America and Belgium and over the last few years, being specifically based in the UK.
My Caregiving experience has also allowed me to meet many lovely quality carers, and over the last few years I have been placing them with more and more clients. Having been successful doing this has allowed me to now progress and take my passion to the next level, by creating my own introductory agency, one that follows all my core values and one I know will be able to help more and more clients have a better quality of life.

My Story
I set up Hunterlodge 36 years ago with a desire and passion to deliver Superior Marketing and Advertising Services to every client. I constantly strive to ensure the ad industry,
as a whole, is continuously evolving and have been chair of the IPA Professional Development Group for many years as well as being Chair of Advertising’s first ever Trail Blazer group, helping launch the Advertising and Media Apprenticeship Standard. I was
made the first ever FIPA MIPA of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising in their 110 year history. I always ensure my people are the best they can be and have been gold accredited with Investors in People for nearly 20 years. I love cycling (including
cycling stages of the tour De France), skiing, and anything to do with being in or under the water.
And what’s all this got to do with Live in Care – As I’ve got older, and been the main carer for my dad for two years, I realised my passion and commitment for ensuring my people are as good as they can be transitioned into ensuring the care I gave my dad was as good as it could be. Having then gone on to meet Debbie and Jacqui, I also realised that I was capable of ensuring my business skills and focus would help ensure our new company will only ever deliver the best possible care for our clients.

My Story
It was in 2018 that I embarked on a transformative path, entering the realm of caregiving. This experience touched my heart profoundly. Caring for the elderly became a passion, and with each client, whether offering companionship, assisting those with dementia, or supporting diabetic quadriplegic individuals, I found immense reward.
My heart is always full after a day's work because I believe in the power of compassion and the importance of making a positive impact on those in need. This commitment to enhancing lives has led me to collaborate with my sister, Deborah and Rob to establish our own care agency. Together, we are driven by a shared ethos of love and dedication to our clients' well-being. Our mission is to bring happiness and fulfilment to the lives we touch, one caring act at a time.
